Le Mans is the world’s oldest and most iconic racing event, known for pushing the limits of speed, endurance, and engineering. Competitors strive not only for speed but also for efficiency, strategy, and reliability over a grueling 24-hour race. It’s a true test of resilience, teamwork, and innovation - qualities that resonate deeply with Synternet’s mission.
DeFi is entering a new phase, with BTC yield-seeking and growing institutional adoption accelerating its expansion. Currently, only 1% of BTC is utilized in DeFi, and each additional 5% could introduce $100B in value, driving exponential growth.
In a fragmented blockchain ecosystem, comprehensive visibility across multiple chains is essential - not only to uncover optimal yield opportunities but also to craft effective risk-adjusted strategies. The future of on-chain finance will rely on AI agents executing logic in real-time, guided by trustless signals and data-driven insights.
Synternet’s roadmap is designed to address current challenges while building the technology necessary for a transparent, AI-driven DeFi ecosystem. The 2025 Le Mans roadmap establishes the technological groundwork required to position Synternet at the core of this evolving landscape.
Stage 1: Dunlop
Inspired by the legendary Dunlop Curve and bridge at Le Mans, this stage embodies the grit and momentum that define the starting line. In Q1 2025, we’re setting the foundation for our DeFi vision with the launch of Yield Explorer - an advanced tool for tracking selected wrapped BTC assets. It will provide real-time insights into BTC Proof of Reserves and the total supply of wrapped counterparts, ensuring transparency and reliability in the evolving DeFi ecosystem.
Yield Explorer Launch
Yield Explorer will be an advanced tool for tracking selected wrapped BTC assets. Yield opportunities for these assets will be monitored cross-chain for optimal returns. As a first feature, it will offer real-time data on BTC Proof of Reserves and the total supply of wrapped tokens, ensuring accurate and transparent asset reporting.
The tool will support real-time, independent monitoring of smart contracts and assets across blockchains. Users will be able to build live dashboards with public data streams, implement automated response strategies, and use advanced anomaly detection with real-time alerts. This solution will help users spot opportunities, verify asset integrity, detect issues early, and reduce operational risks in decentralized environments. The initial version of Yield Explorer will have limited yield discovery features, with full functionality planned for Q2.
Synternet Gateway
Synternet Gateway will provide developers with an alternative method to access data from Synternet Protocol publishers. This feature will enable data retrieval via HTTP, complementing the existing WebSocket/NATS protocol. By expanding access options, it aims to address foundational challenges in data accessibility and integration.
State & Service Queries
The Synternet Protocol will include a feature that enables users to make RPC-like requests, providing responses in the form of either a single message or a continuous stream of messages. This is designed to improve flexibility and efficiency in data interaction.
Anomaly Detection Algorithms
Once implemented, the Synternet Protocol will support user-defined requirements for signals monitoring and anomaly detection, enabling tailored tracking and alerting for data insights.
Signaling & Alerting System
We will introduce a signaling and alerting system that delivers real-time notifications for detected signals. Notification methods will be designed to align with user-defined requirements, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness.
Stage 2: Mulsanne
Inspired by the Mulsanne Straight, this stage emphasizes the crucial balance of endurance, speed, and precision in DeFi evolution. In Q2 2025, the Yield Explorer will expand its asset coverage beyond wrapped BTC to include key DeFi assets such as liquid staking tokens, restaking tokens, and collateralized stablecoins. Alongside continuous development and feature updates, yield discovery functionality will be introduced, enabling BTC holders to track and compare opportunities across chains in real-time.
Yield Explorer Upgrade
The Yield Explorer upgrade will expand asset coverage to include more wrapped BTC assets and support a wider range of DeFi assets, such as liquid staking, restaking tokens, and collateralized stablecoins. Yield discovery functionality will be added, enabling BTC holders to track and compare yield opportunities. This upgrade will expand the tool’s capability for real-time asset tracking and cross-chain analysis. Development will remain ongoing, with continuous feature updates.
Broker Network Upgrade
A Broker Network upgrade will improve customizability and scalability, providing users with greater flexibility in managing their data streams. This update will introduce the capability to restream past messages, enabling better data analysis, troubleshooting, and app development while maintaining high performance and reliability across diverse use cases.
AI Dock
AI Dock will allow AI model providers and projects to earn through the Synternet Protocol while offering subscribers a seamless way to explore and test various AI models through a unified interface.
Anomaly Detection Upgrade
The anomaly detection algorithm for user-defined signals monitoring will be upgraded to provide more precise and tailored tracking and alerting capabilities. These upgrades will improve the accuracy of detections and the overall usability of data insights for more reliable monitoring.
Custom Pricing Options
Flexible pricing options will be introduced, including both fixed and time-based pricing models. Users will also have the ability to define custom pricing structures tailored to their specific needs, providing enhanced control and adaptability.
Stage 3: Arnage
Named after Arnage Corner, known for being one of the slowest yet most technical and precise sections of the Le Mans circuit, this stage represents mastery and the pursuit of peak performance. In H2 2025, the Yield Explorer will transition into a community-driven project, enabling participation from various foundations and blockchain networks. This shift will introduce a transparent, public process for adding assets to the tracker, sparking ecosystem openness with the ultimate goal of open-source-like transparency.
Synternet Protocol Multiwallet Support
Wallet support will be expanded beyond Keplr to include MetaMask, Solana, and other widely used wallets, simplifying onboarding across various ecosystems. Additionally, payment options will be extended beyond SYNT, allowing for greater flexibility with multiple token choices.
On-chain Signaling
Decentralized signaling will be implemented to support a variety of use cases, enabling users to define custom signal parameters for different types of events across multiple blockchains. The feature will allow for real-time detection of specified conditions, triggering alerts or automated actions based on user-defined rules. AI agents acting on Synternet signals will open a chapter of truly on-chain DeFi.
Solana Bridge
A SYNT token bridge will be developed to connect the Cosmos-Solana or Ethereum-Solana ecosystems, enabling seamless interoperability and cross-chain functionality. This integration will also allow access to Solana’s liquidity, expanding the overall utility and reach of the SYNT ecosystem.
