Today marks an exciting new chapter in Syntropy's journey as we announce our rebranding from Syntropy to Synternet. This represents a significant leap forward in our mission to power blockchain data infrastructure and the next generation of Web3 innovation.
Since our founding as Syntropy, we’ve achieved a series of significant milestones up until today. We've built a talented team of nearly 50 Web3 professionals, including experienced executives, business developers, marketers, engineers, developers, and researchers. Our community has grown to almost 100,000 members across various social media platforms, with tens of thousands of token holders supporting our vision of providing the building blocks for the future of Web3.
Through our efforts, we've introduced the Data Layer and real-time data in multiple verticals such as DeFi, AI, DePIN, Trading and Governance. Even before our mainnet launch, our technology has been validated by protocols and projects like Osmosis, KYVE Network, Morpheus AI, Axone, Stakin, SAXON, DAIC, and many others (stay tuned for some exciting announcements in the coming weeks). We've also secured over $10 million in funding from leading Web3 investment firms who are backing our vision with support and guidance.
With these accomplishments as our foundation, we're excited to take the next leap forward as Synternet, ready to redefine the future of Web3.
Synternet: A Bigger Vision for the Future of Web3
When we started as Syntropy, our goal was to transform how data moves across the internet by leveraging the power of blockchain technology. Over time, as the Web3 ecosystem has matured, it became clear that isolated blockchains need a way to connect and communicate seamlessly. Just as the early internet linked siloed computer networks into a unified web, we realized that our technology could serve as the critical link connecting disparate blockchains into a synchronized, interoperable network.
Synternet embodies this ambitious vision. More than just a name change, it signifies our commitment to building the data infrastructure that will power Web3's future – a unified network where any data from any chain can be accessed instantly to fuel groundbreaking decentralized applications. As Synternet, we aim to tear down the walled gardens dividing blockchains today and enable a more open, composable Web3 landscape.
What is Synternet?
Synternet is not just the new brand name, it is a blockchain that powers modular, interoperable data infrastructure across all major chains.
What is the Data Layer?
The Data Layer is a protocol built on Synternet that serves as the customizable execution layer between all blockchains. Its upcoming AEAs (Autonomous Economic Agents) empower developers to build composable, use-case-specific applications that can execute on any data from any chain.
What is Changing and What Stays the Same?
Effective immediately, Syntropy will be known as Synternet across all of our public-facing channels and materials. You'll notice an updated visual identity, including a refreshed logo, color palette, and website design that reflects our forward-looking brand. Rest assured that this is not merely a cosmetic change, but one that aligns our external image with the cutting-edge technology we're building behind the scenes.
While our name and look are evolving, our core values and commitment to the community remain steadfast. For our valued token holders, no action is required on your part. Our team is always available on our official Telegram channel to address any questions you may have during this transition.
The Road Ahead: Monaco and Beyond
The launch of the Synternet is followed by the next major milestone in our roadmap, Monaco. Coming up, you can expect:
- The Synternet blockchain to launch on mainnet, powering cross-chain data infrastructure like real-time data streams.
- A fully operational token bridge connecting Ethereum and Cosmos, enabling seamless value transfer.
- Major enhancements to the publisher and developer experience.
As in the past, we’ll maintain the same level of transparency and accountability that has marked our journey so far. We are in the midst of finalizing the details of Synternet’s upcoming milestones and are excited to soon share updates and insights about that progress.
In the words of our CEO Daniel Haudenschild:
"Synternet isn't just a rebrand, it's a declaration of our bold vision for the future of blockchain. By providing data infrastructure for Web3, we're laying the foundation for a more open, interoperable, and innovative decentralized web, fueling a new era of groundbreaking applications."
CTO Jonas Simanavicius adds:
"Our engineering team has been heads down building the technology to make the Synternet vision a reality. We couldn't be more excited to invite the world to build and scale groundbreaking dApps on our network in the coming months."
This is Only the Beginning
We want to thank you, our incredible community, for your ongoing support and belief in our mission. Your faith in us is what drives the Synternet team to push the boundaries of what's possible every day. Together, we're ushering in a new era of Web3, and the rebrand for Synternet marks a key milestone in that journey.
We look forward to sharing more about the Synternet vision in the weeks ahead. To stay up to date, follow us on Twitter, and join the conversation on Telegram and Discord.
